Research Paper- Pixar
In 1983, John Lassater, a former Disney employee, met Ed Catmull at a computer conference where he was representing LucasFilm. Catmull hired Lassater and their company, Pixar, was then sold by George Lucas to Steve Jobs for $10 million. Pixar made a few short films, including Luxo Jr., but the company dreamed of making a full-length feature film. Disney and Pixar soon teamed up and created Toy Story, which made history in 1995 by being the first fully computer-animated feature film. On January 24, 2006, Disney and Pixar merged for good after two temporary agreements. They have continued to make great computer animated films such as; Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, and their newest movie, Up.
